Il Concerto sviluppa l’universo musicale della Tragedia Endogonidia sulla base del significato etimologico del lemma greco tragodìa, ‘canto del capro’. Un capro in carne e ossa diventa corpo di scrittura: le sue sequenze proteiche dettano combinazioni sonore. Letteralmente, la poesia discende dal capro, non è più affidata a un Autore. Quattro donne in nero eseguono la partitura vocale risultante da questo complesso procedimento di traslitterazione, combinandosi alle potenti sonorità elettroniche di Scott Gibbons, elaborate anch’esse da una sorgente organica. Con quest’opera la Socìetas si avvicina ancor più all’origine del mistero tragico, scardinandone la dimensione narrativa e restituendone tutta la drammaticità e commozione.
Concerto develops the musical landscape of the Tragedia Endogonidia on the basis of the etymological meaning of the Greek word tragodìa, ‘song of the goat’. A goat in flesh and blood becomes writing body: its proteinic sequences dictate sound combinations. Literally, poetry descends from the goat, it’s no longer granted to an Author. Four women in black execute the vocal score resulting from this complex transliteration, in combination with Scott Gibbon’s powerful electronic sonorities, which are also elaborated from an organic source. With this work the Socìetas gets even closer to the origin of the tragic mystery, undermining its narrative dimension and embodying its dramatic and emotional force.
